Re: My Marathon Project
Hang tight guys. Right now I am in sheet metal hell....
The rear fenders are pretty bad. I may have a line on a new (used) set. If so that would make me all warm and fuzzy cuz then it's off to the painter. I don't paint. At all. Lol |

Re: My Marathon Project
Okay. It's been awhile since my last update but it's almost done.Ended up getting some new fenders from a member here so I lucked out. Everything has been mocked up and it should go to the painter next week. Wheels are on (Wicked Carts is AWESOME!)....12" ITP SS with 215/35/12. Everything clears perfect with no lift. Floor and kick panel are done with Pioneer 6x9's, 2 amps, 2 5.25's, and probably an 8" sub in a custom box. Some of the stereo stuff isn't in yet but all the wiring is being run. I need to keep the bagwell as clean as possible so not sure on the sub yet. HEI is done as well
Dash has been fitted with a Pioneer HU, Headlight switch and a 12v power outlet. Upholstery is all faux gator skin. Fired it up with a 40:1 break in mix and sat the rings. Smokes a bit but seems okay. Here are some pics and I will post more as I progress |
