disconnected all 6 batteries are reading 5v. I have an electricians type clamp meter and it does not display anything but whole numbers, so i guess that could be as much as 5.49v being rounded down.

Borrowed a neighbors meter that showed decimals. Read 35.2v. Took off all nuts and wires except ANOTHER galled nut I could not remove on what looks like a repaired terminal post. Cleaned everything with wire brush and battery cleaner. Wedged a large copper spade connector under the nut I couldn't remove. Tightened all nuts. Pack now reading 37.3v. Rode it around, faster than its ever been. Cart is now charging, will check water levels after its done.

Neighbor says to throw an aspirin in each hole, any of you ever heard of this?

The aspirin trick doesn't work much or for long. Up to you ?

Here is the deal.... 38.1 is good if it still reads that after it has settled (sat) for 12 hours. Those bad connections are killing you... and soon one of them is going to start arcing and melt a post off again if you can not get them Tight! ....

Careful.

After over 12 hours sitting in the cold garage, the reading had dropped to 37.0v.

Consider some drop due to cold temperature you are still a tad under 70% potential.... Consider 50% is empty you are working with about 40% of normal battery potential. With any luck there will be one bad battery and the rest okay?

Test on.... but my gut feeling is toast, Sorry.
