Default New controller

I just installed a new DCXX 400a controller on my 06 ezgo pds and I called alltrax about programming and told them i was running 4 gauge cable and the guy told me that i would see a performance upgrade if I would add another 4 guage wire from the M- and B+ on the controller going to the motor. He also said I could change to 2 gauge but would probably be cheaper just adding another 4 guage. Anyone else do this

i really dont see how it would increase performance by adding another 4ga. wire with a 400 amp controller.

now if you are using a low strand 4ga instead of a high strand 4ga then it could help alittle, but i doubt you would notice it.

So you currently have 4ga wire on the M- and B+ ? And Alltrax said to add an additional 4ga cable to each connector?
