Pachanga and I have had this discussion already. I went out and bought the washers and I couldn't do it cause I had a comet duster clutch. So for me its the shorter belt.

whew i almost did it but waited..i guess i will wait till the other motor goes in someday and just get new drive clutch..thanks
will shimming the driven on the rear help anything..

I bought the washers before I knew I had a comet clutch. I can't wait to try the new shorter belt. Im doing a top end and a new driven clutch. It oughta go pretty good after that.

Yeah me too. Im putting a hitch on it too so the top and rear fenders are off of it. You can't just bolt a hitch on our carts.

i did i just jerked a 400 lb tree with it many times a week ago and was amazed i didnt break it as its only 1/8th thick 4 inch aluminum pipe..but it does have 1/2 thick plates bolted to the 1x2 frame..i kinda figured the frame would have tweaked..stronger than i thought i guess..
