Losing power with air filter attached...HELP!
I am having trouble every time I attach my air filter assembly. My engine is running too rich and its blowing fuel into the housing. I've cleaned the carb twice, adjusted the float, checked valve spacing and timing, and I still can't run with the air filter on...I know that the two issues are related, but even after reading the forums...no help...anyone got ideas that haven't been posted?

Re: Losing power with air filter attached...HELP!
It sounds like the air filter or connecting hose might be completely plugged up and thus the engine can't get any air. Check for a blockage (there might even be a mouse nest or a mud dobber nest in the filter housing).
