Default Digital Volt/Ammeter

Use something like this for my LED gigging lights.
It's a digital DC volt/ammeter rated @ 600V 200A. Anyone tried using one of these on a cart?

Most stock carts will pull over 200 amps, so I don't think it would work well.

Depends on your controller, I used a 600 amp shunt meter for my 72 volt 450 amp controller.

Just make sure to get one that will handle more amps than your controller can output.

If you try one tell us how it works.

I'm not sure why you wanna see Amps, but I use $3 chinese voltmeters everyday and they work perfect. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Waterproof-D...item2a50d7718d
I've installed hundreds of them. They probably have about a 3% rate of failure. But at $3 it ain't a big deal to have extra on hand. Wire them in with the ignition on and you are golden

These are only 30V max input, it says "higher than 30v has the risk of burn up" on the description. Could it be a different meter you install maybe? Just don't want someone here to buy one and it go pop the instant they install it - lol
