Default Possible MCOR issues, replace or fix?

I have a 2000.5 Club Car DS series cart with a plum quick bandit motor. Cart goes fine on flat ground, but any hill, it slows down considerably. I took the motor to plum quick, they ran it on the dyno, and said everything was fine there, but could be an issue with MCOR. Scottyb gave me some advice as far as testing MCOR. I took off leads #2 and #3 and tested ohms with pedal up and down. Pedal up, there wasn't any resistance, pedal down, was 1750. Is the MCOR bad, should it be converted to MCOR 4? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Sounds like battery problems to me. And it's not a 2000.5 if it has an MCOR. MCORs didnt start until 02

I have a 2001 Club Car DS w/IQ and I've been told that all IQs have an MCOR. Now, I don't know if my cart was converted to an IQ somewhere along the line. I only purchased it last year. :-)

I asked him to make a throttle signal test. He reported 0-1750. He may have had the wrong wires?
Unfortunately, I can't fix carts in my PM box so lets see if we can direct Brew to the root of the problem.

He has a series cart rather than an IQ. I think a serial number would benefit us a lot

As for you, Balt, what is your serial number? I noticed you have the IQ port on the bottom of your F-R, but your cart is a 2001. No IQs in 01, unless it's a prototype

I don't know if it was converted over to an IQ or if it was a prototype. I went through this a few months ago when I purchased a Curtis 500 amp controller for IQ from FSIP. One of the guys who helps work on my cart thinks it's a conversion.

Yeah, most likely a Regen 2 to IQ conversion. Left the factory as a Regen 2

This is from a website regarding MCOR year, which is why I thought it has an MCOR. Pics show I have an MCOR 1

MCOR1 - This was used on all DS & Carryall cars from 2000.5 until 2011-2012. It looks very similar to an MCOR2, but the input shaft is star splined and they mount differently. It is no longer available. A conversion kit upgrade to MCOR 3 or 4 is required to replace it (AM293101). This kit is for a DS and will not fit Precedent.
