Sounds like a plan. Yeah it's a pain to make a gas cart out of an electric cart. It can be done but it's not worth it in my book

If I buy this "like new" rear end and cradle for $650, the frame for $250, then transfer my front end over, I'll have about a grand and be ready for a clone kit. Wondering if that's making sense moneywise or if should bail and find a used gas complete cart. Only finding overpriced ones in rough condition though, I dont mind the work so wondering if I'll get a better result piecing it together like this..

I went for it on the parts and it looks like the clearence will definitely be close but not a guaranteed no. I have an aluminum welder friend so maybe I can do a slight mod to the frame in that area or in a worse case pick up a new frame and transfer the project to it. Thanks for all the advice
