First January ride ever on my cart..
I guess I got lazy this winter and never removed the battery from my 1993 DS. Up here in Michigan it usually isn't the best time to be out in the cold. Well the 2 grandkids were over last Saturday and we were outdoors getting some fresh air. It was close to 50F and sunny and we were over by the garage and they both asked can we take the golf cart for a ride? I said it hasn't been running for close to 2 months as I did have her out at least in early December. Plus I said the battery is probably dead, but I said I would try to start. I also had a flat tire from a slow leaker but that was easy to pump up. I turned the key, put her in forward and hit the pedal, oh good grief she turned over. I then pushed the choke button in and cranked again and away she went!! Boy was I surprised, she hasn't really been a cold weather runner much before. So the grandkids and I went for a nice ride both Saturday and Sunday, amazing old piece of machinery. Just thought I would share a great Club Car moment!!

Re: First January ride ever on my cart..
That's awesome. I try and get my cart out whenever possible. Just had it out this past Friday.
And here's a video of us pulling the tube a few years ago (same cart, looks a little different now): |

Hahaha, ya actually my 9 year old grandson wanted to drive, not ride, that was the premise of wanting to get the cart out.

Re: First January ride ever on my cart..
My wife, youngest daughter and myself have taken a few carts rides lately. One day it’s 20 & snowing, next day it 50 and sunny. Get it when we can. I ride in the snow but the wife isn’t wild about getting that cold.
