Default Taylor Dunn

I picked up a 2016 Taylor Dunn B0-248-36 Electric Utility Cart. The batteries are up to 36v+ but nothing on the dash except the reverse beeper will function.

The throttle is very stiff from sitting. I've heard the throttle module can act like a BCM on a car.? Any ideas?

To begin with, batteries at 36.0 volts are less than a 50% state of charge ... see the attached state of charge chart for your reference.

You will want to locate and download the Taylor Dunn wiring diagram and manual for your cart to assist in your trouble shooting. See the troubleshooting section of the manual linked to below.

See manual here: https://www.manualslib.com/products/...6-8666970.html

Since your cart is pretty new, you might want to contact Taylor Dunn directly for any info you can't find on the web.

What controller is in it? The accelerator module is a point of failure on an otherwise pretty bullet proof machine. Is the display digital?

Thanks. I realized I still had/have the charger plugged into 115. The Taylor Dunn has a charger interlock that disables the key switch. I will try that later today. I will download those manuals too thanks.

I have heard the accelerator module in these is problematic, I will order on. The display does not come on. It is a single multifunction gauge that is supposed to flash codes. Thanks.

UPDATE: Having the charger plugged into these units disables the ignition switch. Cart now moves, batteries are not coming up to full charge. Brake master cylinder seems to be froze up. And accelerator pedal broke off........Continuing on.
