Default welding on cart

what do u have to unhook on a marathon to weld on the chassis. Also what about welding on the rear do u have to take the motor off

I have welded on plenty of them without disconnection anything. An older Marathon won't have a computer or even any solid state components to worry about.... you can disconnect the battery pack just to be ultra safe, if you like. Keep your ground cable reasonably close to your work cable as the juice runs between the 2 only.

lmao, I have welded so many Spring shackle hangers on carts in the field using a set of jumper cables, the battery pack and a welding rod it isn't even funny anymore. as long as you isolate the battery pack from sensitive items like an electronic speed controller, you should be fine.
