Hill Brake Problems
I just replaced my hill brake plate because the old one was worn out and notched where the pedal is supposed to catch onto it. Well now it will catch but it's hard to get it to catch. Like it slips off. What could be my problem? It bugs the living crap out of me to not have a hill brake. Does something need to be adjusted differently or what?

Re: Hill Brake Problems
I think there is a complete manual for the cart in the stickies ~ My manual shows the hill brake operation:

Re: Hill Brake Problems
Well I am going to check it here in a bit and see what I can come up with. I guess if the latch lever is bad I'll be replacing that as well. I need to get a few othe brake pedal components. Hey Scotty on the kick off rod should that be all floppy and have a lot of play? The bushings look fine just doesn't seem right.

Re: Hill Brake Problems
Well I adjusted the kick off cam to line up right and still does not want to catch on. I'm assuming the catch lever is too worn out. Looks like I'll be replacing that along with a few other braking components.
