Default Reverse lite

Has anybody used the reverse solenoid to power up a reverse light..Did some checking and it will work when the gas pedal is pushed???

I think you will have trouble running much amperage through a micro-switch .......

Wire a relay in and the micro switch will activate the relay and pull power from the battery to operate the light.

I have been running a single 55 watt lite through the micro switch for 2 and half years!! 4 amps, no relay.

Relay everything is my rule. If you could find some cheap LED lights they don't take much power and might make enough light, but a relay is only $4 anyway.

I'm running a 15" stip of LED lights wired right off the micro. Works great and throws a ton of light.
Prior to that I had a 55watt light running off it for about 2 years as well with no issues

I have a few of those strips, but only for mood lighting to mess with the people at the firepit lol. Really need to get them on the cart. I suppose I could put backup lights on it too, my reverse buzzer died from water inhalation years ago anyway.
