Default G9 lacks power

My G9 runs well and revs OK, but it seems to lack power. I do have 22" tires, but it has started really bogging down quite a bit more recently. Sometimes if I stop the cart and then start out it will climb the hill for a bit and then bog down again. Seems like it has no low end. It does well on level ground unless I am pulling something or have extra weight.
Any ideas for me to check? I have a new belt on it and it doesn't sound like it is slipping, but ... ???

Seems to be ---but I'll check again as soon as it quits raining. Time to blow out the air filter anyway, I think. Perhaps a full tun-up. Thanks for the suggestion --- sometimes I need something like that to get my rear in gear.

Check the tension cable under the gen pulley. Clean/lube the clutches.

Mine would get hot and start to lose power, always ran great for 5min until it got hot usually on a hot day. It would act strange at lower rpm sometimes like a valve was sticking or something but fine at high rpm. Then it started to smoke some and I knew it was time. Then I bought a clone lol. Once I took the shrouding all and cleaned the cooling fins after the top cover leaked oil on them. It was a mess, ran better after that.
