Default Nitrous

Who Has run Nitrous on a G1. How much can handle. And for how long. Going to the world street finals. Thought it might be fun to have on it.

Nitrous and a stock 2-stroke is a recipe for disaster. They run so lean as it is,it will melt-down quickly.I think a 20-shot would be good for a few seconds, but damage is very likely.

you will be fine with a wet 20 shot as long as you keep the rpms up while spraying...

Ditto. Don't lift until the spray is done. Might want to just use a push button switch instead of a fancy throttle position type. I've been considering NOS on my clone cart. Which kit were you looking at?

Check out Bossnoss. He makes them for 2 stroke snowmobiles. Call him he's a great guy.

Normally (especially with a 2 stroke) you have to richen up the fuel mixture a bit when running Nitrous, to keep from excessive leaning. I've known a few outboard motors that melted down from people who didn't apply that rule.

A good kit will have a fuel solenoid as well as a nitrous
solenoid. you must have a fuel pump that is in good working
in order to prevent melt downs.
