Vinyl cover OVER a canopy?
Has anyone put a cover OVER their canopy? I'm wondering how it looks. I have the original tan one but was looking at uptoparcovers.com and found a lime green/black color combo that I would like.
Will anyone post pics of theirs with a cover? Thanks! |

I've never seen one. But I went to the site that you referred to and they look pretty neat. I have no idea how they would hold up to heat or cold and how long they would last....but it would appear they look nice. Those would be my questions to the seller....along with what the warranty period is and what is covered.

That is pretty cool, but the site does not seem to give much information such as how they attach, what it looks like from the underside, etc.
I just took mine off when i bought it and painted the tan top blue with spray paint and it turned out very good. |

Re: Vinyl cover OVER a canopy?
Yeah....painting, especially with these new vinyl paints would be a good idea. I don't know what the cost difference would be, but if you drive around low hanging branches your tie on top may get a rip in it....where the paint could just get a quick touch up.
My new top is a different direction. I went with a sponsors roll cage as I use my cart for hunting here in the very hilly terrain of SW Pa, so I fastened a piece of custom cut Lexan, which is actually "bullet proof" to a certain degree. I then covered the Lexan with a piece of cammo vinyl heat shrink material (3-M) for shade. I've had it on for almost a year and it's worked out great. |

The main reason I bought it was because my 1999 club Car DS had two cracks toward the back of the cart so it worked good to keep the rain from dripping in the cracks. |
