Default Ez-Go Torque Motor

I have a Ez-go TXT I converted to 48V. It has 25" tires, 500 amp controller. Im looking at upgrading my motor. Does anyone have a TORQUE motor built by Plum Quick? Or does anyone have the specs on one? Would yall recommend a PC Torque motor or a D&D Torque motor?

We sell the D&D high torque 4:1 motor. Customers have very good results with 22 and 23" tires and 500-700 amp controls.
With 25" tires you may want to go with a stronger custom built motor and upgraded rear hubs.

ScottyB...Do you have a part # or something so I can see which D&D motor your talking about? Also do you know anything about the custom Torque motors that PC builds? Where do I find the hubs?

We sell the high torque D&D motor you may be looking for part #4:1 for Ezgo or 4:2A for Club Car. For 25" tires you should look for 700a control and custom D&D motor - email me for more information about custom built motors.

Ausco makes HD hubs for Ezgo. We are an Ausco dealer . Check out our website for pricing.

ok I've narrowed it down to 3
AMD EY7-4001
D&D 502:1
Plum quick Torque built motor
I think the AMD is the GE BEAST. Does anyone know if that's correct? Also does anyone have any pros and cons for these 3 motors? Thanks in advance

I have the D&D motor that you are looking at in my cart with 21x10.50-12 tires and it works great. I also have a 500 amp controller. If you have issues as well the tech support at D&D is awesome.

I also have the D&D torque motor I got from Scotty. Works well in the Texas hill country. Have not found anything I could not climb with that.

are you guys (prior to the new motor) running a 36v motor on 48v batteries? or do you do the conversion all at once and when upgrading to the 48v supply, replace the motor at the same time or is the D&D motor still a 36v motor?

reason I am asking is i am about to buy a cart but am having difficulty finding any 48v for sale right now or they are priced over 3k, found some 36v carts for sub 1k.

Might as well buy a 36v and convert it. You can convert it and still be under 3k I believe.
