Re: Buy a battery puller
I used this installing my Trojan ranger 160's and it was flexing quite a bit, I ended up using both hands near the hooks, I was afraid of dropping my new batteries. I picked it up on amazon for $4 and change prime. It is stamped Trojan on it.

Re: Buy a battery puller
The battery straps are great but as somebody said they can break. The last batch I bought had a 'use by date' stamped on them. That's when I stopped buying them.

Re: Buy a battery puller
Friggin sad that a battery strap has an expiry date! The hooks look OK, one could rivet or bolt them to a piece of old v or serpentine belt and have a lifter that will outlast us!

Expiration date is to cover their butts from lawsuits, Cheap Chinese rubber. The serpentine belt seems like a great idea. |

Re: Buy a battery puller
Seems they could have put a nylon strap inside a rubber coating and had the best of the best lift strap that would never break or rot out ???

Re: Buy a battery puller
Yeah, but that would cost 13 cents to make, instead of 11.

Re: Buy a battery puller
If you ever had one of these straps break while in use you would throw any 12 month old strap in the trash on sight.
