Default good news

The good news is after getting the wife a new cadillac SRX she told me its OK to play with the upgrades on our 2008 club car precedent.
so far I did a led headlight/bumper
a 6inch lift with 22inch wheel/tires
under body multi color led lights, 30 amp 48 to 12 volt reducer
Things to finish
12 volt to 6 8volt batteries (what kind of batteries)
2 ga battery cables
upgrade the mcor
new 500 amp controller, solenoid, motor
possibly getting rid of the obc and get a new charger (still reading about that)
grab handle for getting in the cart along with some kind of step up bar (thats for the wife)
dash board and steering wheel
radio
overall just make a little hot rod

Great news!

Most people go with Trojan, crown or US batteries. I think the most imortant thing is max amp hours in your budget, maintaining them, and yes bypass the OBC and use a smart charger with float mode (DPI or alike)

I wouldn't upgrade the MCOR until it gives you problems.

Not sure how far you are in Central FL from Miami, but I'm switching to Lithium so I'm selling my 6 month old six 8volt batteries, new 2ga welding cables and also my ERIC charger which does not need the OBC. Ill let it all go as a combo for $500. Batteries also have the single point watering system. I know it has mixed reviews but has never given me a problem.

That would be a good deal for someone. Those ERIC chargers alone are almost that much new.

Check the sticker on your vette, I think they have less than 450lb people+cargo capacity.
