Well got 20” tires mounted today and if this is possible it has less torque?!

Higher Amperage controller, higher voltage battery pack, or go back to stock 18" tires. Those are your options.

Not enough of a current difference, without increasing voltage to go with it. I hope it's not an eBay sourced 350 Amp Curtis controller... The chinese tend to market copies (clones) of Curtis controllers that look real, but do not perform like the real thing. If it says Made in China on the label, and the date code claims it's newer than 4 years old, it's likely a clone.

When you go with larger tires, it reduces torque. The same motor will require more power (Watts) to deliver the same amount of torque to the ground. This requires more voltage and/or more current. P = I * E... where P is power in Watts, I is current in Amperes. and E is potential applied in Volts. As your motor RPM increases, it takes more voltage to be able to push more current through that motor.

Thank you. The only thing that made no sense to me is it actually seems to have less torque going to 20” tires from 23” tires. I figured I would of gained a little torque. I think the cart wouldn’t have much torque to climb a slight incline with stock 18” tires.
