Ez go txt power issue
Lookin at a 2008 txt was told it ran. The charger is good but it’s not taking a charge. Hooked up a 12 v charger to the batteries and nothing happens at all. No lights no volt indicator. It’s a 36v so has 6 6v in it. If one of the cells are bad will it keep the whole system from working or should I be looking for a wiring issue?

Re: Ez go txt power issue
The 36V charger that came with a 2008 era cart won't start if the battery pack voltage is below about 30V.
Did you connect the 12V charger across just two of the 6V batteries at a time, or the entire battery pack? What is the voltage of each of the 6V batteries? If the batteries have sat in a discharged state for a long period of time, they are likely to be boat anchors. If the battery pack voltage isn't sufficient, nothing is going to work, so getting the batteries charged or replaced is the first step. |

Re: Ez go txt power issue
If you ran the charger across a pair of the batteries getting a 12v load And your not getting anything from the charger the battery is Toast OR you have a fancy 12v charger that won’t charge a flat dead battery.
It’s one or the other |
