Default Bit the bullet Leaf Lithium build

Today I "bit the bullet" and ordered 7 modules of Leaf batteries.

I know I will have some questions, but I believe I have enough information and confidence to put together a build.

I will post updates and questions to this thread as it progress's. I may seem to ask a stupid question now 'n then......because I don't pretend to know everything!!

Just make sure you pre-stretch all the cables before installation. Otherwise you may get a knot in the flight line and you don't want that.

Welcome to the lithium club sir!

I wonder what you choose to have out on display as a conversation piece if you keep these down in the cellar! Do you cut watermelon with a guillotine?!?!

Ebay. A fellow that goes by AZlithium. These are suppose to be from a wrecked 2012 Leaf with 12-K miles.

BTW.....I currently have a SOC digital meter that I purchased from ScottyB. I got his switch model so I can monitor my 12-V battery.

Would this SOC meter work with Lithium?

Yes Dave, that SOC should be fine with your lithium pack.

Dave
What AH are your Leaf modules? I have a similar EZGO hunting set up as you and will be following.

Are they the 66ah modules? 7 modules should be 56v give or take?
Have you decided on an enclosure or a way to mount them yet?
