Default Motor rebuild kit

Where can I find a rebuild kit (brushes, bearings, etc) for my cart. Since it's 23 years old, I thought it would be a good idea to go through it and get it all freshened up.

Have you asked your local electric motor repair shop?

Like said before. It helps a lot if you start your first post telling members what year cart and drive system you have. To help you get what parts you need

That info is in his signature. Am I missing something?

OP: I have not seen or heard of a "rebuild" kit for a golf cart motor. Most people can get the motor refreshed at an electrical repair shop or they send it to a builder like PlumQuick.

I called my local shop and they want $100-$120 just to do the bearings. He said it would be more to do the brushes and the price would depend on the cost of the brushes. Since I can get a much better brand new motor for under $500, it just doesn’t make sense to put over $200 into a 23 year old motor. I’m sure I can do it myself, just want to get the right parts.

Just download your service manual, tear it apart and replace the one bearing, blow out all the crud, clean your commutator with a Scotchbrite (green scrubby cloth), measure your brushes and replace if necessary.

Looks to be a standard AMD stock motor. 1.49KW (2 hp non peak) series.
Try shopezgo for parts/part numbers of brushes and bearing (only one). Parts may be cheaper other places.
Bearing has to be pressed in. Comm could be resurfaced if you have appropriate equipment.
