This is the approved charger list from USB.

From K. Fred Wehmeyer
Senior Vice President - Engineering
U.S. Battery Mfg. Co., Inc.

"DPI mode 1 is acceptable for US8VGC XC2 flooded lead acid batteries.
It is not acceptable for US Battery AGM sealed lead batteries."

I had to make sure because the battery warranty is no good unless it's a approved charger.

On the Lead battery posts rather than the studs or cable lugs.
For the battery pack voltage, measure from the main Negative post to the main Positive post. Those will be the posts with heavy cables going to the solenoid and controller.
For the individual battery readings, from one post to the other on the same battery.
Both sets of readings can be done while everything is connected.

After the charger shuts off automatically, do I let the pack rest for 12 hours with the charger attached during that period or no?

Thank you for all of your help, I do appreciate it!

Let the batteries rest 12 hours without the charger connected and don't move the cart (except by hand) or turn any accessories on.

I have a Powerwise by Delta Q model 917-4810 48v charger

Battery: Lead-Acid 24 cell 100-200Ah

My cart has six 8v US Batteries....looks like this charger may be ok?

Let me know what you think.

Can the algorithm be changed on those chargers?

It doesn't appear so, its just a box with cable in and out, nothing else.

I think you left out the two very significant letters that follow "Powerwise" and precede "by Delta Q" . Those being "QE"

Call US Battery and ask if it is an acceptable charge for their batteries. (800) 522-0945

You're exactly right there is a QE in there. What do those letters stand for?

Quite Expensive and Quickly Expires.

Kidding aside, Powerwise QE chargers are not known for their longevity and are considered as disposable items by EZGO. You can find places that will repair them, but it is basically throwing good money after bad.

Do yourself and your batteries a favor and get a DPI Accusense charger when it fails, or before if it isn't charging your US Battey batteries:
