growling noise going down hill with pedal let off
Ive got an EZGO that has the F &R switch on the dash year tag is missing . When your going down hill and you let off the pedal it growls at you . What is making it do that ? As soon as I push the pedal agian it quiets down ...??

Could also be the differential gears. They can whine more in one direction than the other.
The F/R switch on the dash, probably makes it a PDS, so what PDS mode are you running in and is it a stock or aftermarket controller? |

This is a friends cart don't know too much about it can I bypass the revenue to see if it's that or not? Also it's a stock controller.

Input shaft is installed in the differential. The motor spins on one end of the shaft and the gears on the other... it is replaceable by removing the motor.

If the controller has a Mild Hill or Steep Hill Plug installed in J2, it has regen braking, other wise it doesn't.
If you pull the plug out of J2, it puts it into All-Terrain or Golf mode and has no regen braking. Be sure to put Run/Tow switch into Tow before pulling the J1 plugh (or disconnect/connecting anything electrical on cart) |
