Default Power Wise+, parts help, needed

My charger quit working. I jumpered around the breaker on the on/off sensor board, part # 28126-GO 4, and the charger worked. I removed the board, and it looks like a resistor is bad [burnt]. Maybe breaker also.

Does any one know what the value of this resistor is, or the bands colors are.
The resistor is the R1 on the board. I can't tell what the colors on mine are or were.

I would like to try and fix this one before I buy another board or charger.
Also what is the part # for the breaker.

Thanks all
Earl

I've never tried to repair the boards - we replace them...

Buy a board, had the same issue a few months back and I ended up doing the same thing. Looked but never could find anyone who had the parts or would repair mine.

Why cant you just look at a picture of a new board...check out the risister colors...write them down. Then just go to RadioShack an buy one?

I would figure that the resistor burnt because of another problem like a stuck contact switch or whatever it is called. Something made it get hot !

Buy the time you chased down, located the parts and replaced all of the possible problems, you'd be better off just replacing the board.

thanks guys, I know that I will probably buy a new board, but I would like to see if I could fix this one, just to see if it can be done.
The relay could also be bad, and if I could find one of them, I will replace it also.

Again, Thanks
Earl

I would bring it down to radio shack, they use to have a color wheel pocket guide for resistors, was like $1.00, they are the quickest to fix, easy.

But if it burnt because of a problem...not board related...you're back in the same boat.
