Some basic questions about the rear axle
Being a golf cart newb, I was doing some forum searching. I wasn't able to find any information about the rear axle of a 1997 EZGo gasser TXT.
Is the axle a full (solid) axle, or does it have some form of a differential? What gear oil is everyone using? That being asked, my reason is because this cart is going to be used in less than ideal road conditions. Since it is only rear wheel drive, it would help if it was a solid axle for the extra traction. I've been pushing this cart around for a few days, I don't want to do it anymore once I get it running again. |

Re: Some basic questions about the rear axle
It's an open differential, uses either 30 wt. or 10w30.
