Re: Looking for some Yamaha info
YDRE is Yamaha DRive Electric. G22 ended in 2007, and YDRx started in 2007 (both were actually available that year).

Often called G29, but not sure if Yamaha uses that terminology.

Re: Looking for some Yamaha info
When YDRx came out in 2007, they said "ITS NOT A 'G ANYTHING'" adamantly during factory training, then sent us a printed parts book that listed it as a G-29! Very funny! So far, they haven't made the same mistake with the new "Drive 2" model, this new one comes up as a DR2x, with no "G" anywhere in sight.

Looking for some Yamaha info
All the major brands (Jakes, Madjax, RHOX)have lifts for G29. I have a 6” RHOX spindle lift on mine.

Re: Looking for some Yamaha info
Makes corporate sense. You produce G model vehicles for 30 years - Model numbers start at G1 and progress to G29. Everybody knows this and everybody knows about when the the G2 or the G22 was made and which drive system it had etc... so then you abandon that system and start with cute abbreviations.
