Default Re: marathon charging?

It is supposed to charge. Jack the rear end up off the ground and run the engine with a digital volt meter on the battery terminals. Voltage should go up to around 14 to 14.5 volts running around 3/4 throttle. If it is not that high, it is not charging at all. If it it higher(15 +) it is overcharging and damaging your battery.

The fix would be th change out the voltage regulator after all the wiring was checked and clean connections were good all around.
