Default Cart jerks and won't move

Hello all. Got a problem with my cart. Got a 95 Ezgo converted to 48v using a Alltrax 48500, reversing contractor, upgraded solenoid (all purchased from Scottyb) along with 2 awg cables. Everything has been working fine for several weeks. As I was going up a step incline the cart started to slow down then just stop. After being towed to flat ground the cart tries to move but just jerks very bad till I go about 3/4 throttle then just stops. With a computer hooked up watching the monitor it shows it shut of due to over current and I am getting a short circuit reading going by the flashing led. Any help would be great!
