Resistor Cart Years
Looking to buy a used cart but want to avoid resistor cart. Can someone enlighten me as to what years manufacturers stopped using resistors?
Thx. |

Ezgo started using solid are controllers around the early 90's. I think there were a few years they offered both. I know anything newer than a 94 will be a controller.

Re: Resistor Cart Years
Ezgo last year resistor 1991.5 with the exception of some few 3 wheeled industrial warehouse carts produced in small numbers through 1993.
Club car gets stickier. 2003 was the last year resistor cart. While solid state began as early as 1992.5 in 36v but in 1995 all solid state CC carts were 48v and all resistor coil carts after 1995 were 36v. I hope this helps. |

Re: Resistor Cart Years
That does help a lot. I had no idea when the change to solid state began.
