Aftermarket LED Battery Meter always reads full
I have a 36v ezgo txt. I purchased an aftermarket LED battery meter that always reads full. There are 3 plugs on the back of the meter that read C, +, and -. The C is wired to the key, the + to the main positive and the - to the main negative. I have brand new duracell 6v batteries. Put in two full days of riding in before I soaked the ITS and micro switch. Should have both those parts on Monday. Is it possible that the batteries are still at full charge? I have tested with a voltmeter and they do read around 37 volts.

They are not full, but the meter is "full" of BS. The aftermarket 10-led meters are even worse than the Curtis 10-led meter.

Change it out for a digital gauge with numbers.
