09 club car ds villager 48v wont run
I'm working on a 2009 ds 48v villager with six seats
it has 8 6v battery setup. All batteries are brand new power tron and are wired correctly. I believe all cable connections are good as I have not found a break in the line or any bad connections. When your press pedal all the way down solenoid will click and supply the 54v from the pack to the controller. If pedal is pressed all the way down cart will start to act like it will move then jump and only move forward maybe a half inch. I believe low amp side is ok and when I normally run into this issue it is a broken cable going to the motor. When I do test the posts on the motor I believe the highest voltage reading was 33 volts. Any help on what could be causing this or how I should further diagnose would be greatly appreciated. |

Re: 09 club car ds villager 48v wont run
Switched out solenoid as I had one handy. Cart had a 150 amp solenoid however I switched out for slightly lighter duty 100 amp. It is still same 48v club car solenoid. When I did at first it seemed to change nothing waited 10 minutes went back out and cart now drives but only runs 2 mph.
Could this be a faulty speed sensor, bad motor or are we still looking at this being the controller? Green wire going to motor is now getting 54 volts. When pedal is pressed after your release pedal you can still see full voltage on positive wire but will slowly start dropping in .1 increments until it reaches 0 volts. |

Re: 09 club car ds villager 48v wont run
any feedback would be greatly appreciated as the controller rebuild alone on this cart is over $500. Don't want to get something that is not necessary. thanks in advance
