club car no click no go
i have a 1999 club car 48volt that i rebuilt two years ago. new series wound motor new cables new controller new selinoid ford/rev etc. cart ran fine till last month. I moved it one day about 20 feet the next day nothing. no click nothing, i cleaned all the wires nothing. I couldn't find any post that said " no click". any thoughts?

Start by checking the micro in the pot box,if good and working if next check is obc.Dave

thanks for your reply davet. but what is a micro in the pot box . there is no tow run switch, it was bypassed as per instructions with new motor etc. kit. if obc is on board computer. all of those wires were cut except one, as per instructions. there is power going into the controler and power comming out of the controller. i could not find power going to the forward / reverse switch. no clicking sound.

The micro switch is mounted on the bacK of the F/R switch in the battery compartment.
If U do not hear a the solinoidclick then tap it with the peddle down and cart jacked up it could be stuck . If you have a digital Volt meter check pack Voltage to be > 48 Volts ! Good luck |

thanks guys. got it fixed. They told me three wires were wired wrong. I dont know how it worked for two years wired wrong. it works now did not charge for any parts.guess we will never know. but thanks again. dan
