Default New controller not powering up

2002 Ezgo PDS that I have taken down to the frame and built back. Converted to 48 volt, Plum Quick Crocodile motor, alltrax XCT 500 , Curtis 400 solenoid. All wires from motor to solenoid are correct, solenoid to controller correct, battery to controller and solenoid correct. Diode and resistor in place on solenoid, navy wire from main harness on negative side of solenoid, yellow wire from harness on positive side of solenoid and red wire to positive side of solenoid on big post connected to positive side of battery pack.

Turn key on no green led on controller.

I did install an onboard Lester summit 2 and removed the charging port that was originally in cart. I found an older post that I believe addressed this but wanted to double check before I started cutting and splicing. I guess the question is do I have to have the red wire with white stripe that goes to the plug attached or bypassed somehow? I saw where someone tied the wire in pin 4 and 5 together and solved there problem. Will this be the same for me? If so can I just run a wire to the positive side of the battery pack and connect it to the red with white stripe wire on harness.

Any suggestion would help.thanks

Default Re: New controller not powering up

Well I can't help with the wiring of an EZGO. Do you have a cable to plug into the controller and pull it up on a computer? That would be the start to trouble shoot why the controller is not powering up. You will want to have the cable to do this for future use anyway.
