How to install 8-6Volt Batts in a CC?
Is there anything special required to install 8 6 volt batteries in a CC? Other than finding a place for the two extra batteries that is. This would not be a conversion, but a change from 6-8Volt to 8-6volt to gain the added run time. Can anyone who has done this please speak up and provide some details or other information? Thanks
Are there ANY disadvantages to this, short of potential additional bat costs up front? Brian |

Put the 2 extra in the Bagwell, and run them in series with the front 6.
No disadvantages (unless you are using Bagwell), all ++++. Same charger, F/R, Solinoid, motor ...etc. A couple $100 more for 8 Bats as opposed to 6, and the cost of 3 cables |

I would reset the OBC if present after you upgrade all #6 cables to #4 and get the new Batteries in place, so it can start learning from scratch.

Thanks G - This will all be part of an entire rebuild. New motor, controller, batteries, lift, body, etc.
