Default Battery - Sizzling

Hey everyone hows it goin?
I have a battery charging question.... when my batteries are charging I hear a sizzling sound from my batteries, is this normal?

wow, sorry I missed your original post.... can you be a little more specific? Normally I would associate a "sizzle" with a loose/weak battery connection.

I normally associate a "sizzle" sound with a steak put on a 500 degree plate.

Not initially, but as your pack gets near full charge you will hear bubbling from the filler holes.

I would check output of charger.

I just had a 48V yamaha charger put out 79.4 volts. The complaint was a strong acid smell when charging batts. Naturally the charger boiled the batts, so he got new batts and charger. TOO bad it was under warranty. :(
