Hard to get the controller wet on that cart it's mounted to the frame above the motor.

As many cars I service a day for as long as I've been doing it. cart in neutral key off I hose off battery's and trays and every time the cart runs fine afterwards.

Well i removed the v-glide and tested the micro switch and its fine. Regardless i am changing the v-glide to a new one because is 15 yrs old and this is the only part that could have gotten wet and im assuming shorted out and lets see what happens. He poured water from a container which ran down towards the v-glide switch not up to the controller. If this does not work off to the shop it goes.

well that must be your good luck because there are dozens of members here who have washed their carts only to have to let them sit and dry because they wouldn,t run afterwards not to mention the 100,s i have seen do the very same thing but its no biggie it happens you let the thing dry and your on your way....now is this the proble here??? no clue it was just another area to to look at since he wasn,t there when it happened ........................................

Thats what i thought was the problem from the begining but i wiped it off best i could and still nothing . Any suggestions how i can clean the F/R switch without causing damage. I thought maybe with electrical contact cleaner.
