Angry 95 Club Car 48V bad controller??

Been fightin this thing for awhile, testing revealed continuity between motor terminals and motor case indicating shorted motor, at least thats what I assume. Just got my "Bandit" upgrade motor from PlumQuick today, installed & still same thing, won't move in fwd or rev, solenoid just clicks. Pack voltage is about 50.8V, have DVM hooked up between B- & M- at controller, have pack voltage with key on, no change when pedal depressed. Did my bad motor wipe out my controller, if so, any suggestions on replacement?? Thanks in advance for any advice!!

The motor will take the controller because most controllers have no reverse polarity protection on the output side, heck most don't have any on the input side either.

Controller selection depends upon a number of factors we can't tell you what's right for you until we know everything about your cart and how you use it.

95 Club Car DS, Non-regen, 48V, some use around the neighborhood, mostly weekend golfing, average 36 holes/wknd. Cart is stock except for "Bandit" motor upgrade.

Stock controller was 225 amps... You could go with a NPX400 and HD solenoid and see an improvement in torque for hills.
