Default Learning info for 2002 DS..

Okay gang, is it possible to tell if my new cart is a Sepex regen 2 or IQ from the info on the sticker? Or am I going to have to take the cover off the OBC to tell what kind it is?

On a side note, I mentioned in another thread that this cart flies compared to what I'm used to with stock carts and it really does. I had my son race me on my lifted cart and this thing moves. My 91' DS cart (36V motor, 48v on 500amp Alltrex, 22" tires) just barely pulls away on flat ground and they stay at same speed on hills.. I'm thinking there is no way I want to spend any money on the "go" portion of this cart!!!!

I noticed when I was flying down hill, it actually felt like the brakes applied as I was smashing the peddle trying to catch my 91'. Is that the regen and what the heck does regen mean?

Thanks for any help.
Kaven

Thanks, Steve.

Do you know Is the Regen just a name for the style or is there something else to it?

Regen braking is a braking feature that slows the cart when you are going downhill to keep you from going too fast. It can be annoying, and some guys disable it. When the cart reaches a certain speed, it will engage regen braking and slow the cart to a set speed. You can have the set speed changed at your dealer. It is just a safety feature.

Also, it looks like your cart is set on speed code 4, because you have the sticker with the 3 codes on it. That is why you are going so fast...
