Ok it looks like you've got a series cart, and there is no run /tow switch.
Now to figure out the throttle type. Is there a black pie shaped box between the batteries, or is there a little black box under the go pedal underneath the cart? |

I did not see anything by the batteries and I cant get my fat head under the cart to see. If I cant get it fixed by wednesday I will have it hauled to the shop

cc has issues with the mcor getting correct charging to batts ., what is full batt voltage after 12 hrs once charger shut off ?
Edit .: I see it is series cart , no run / tow switch |

I believe it has been determined that this is a series cart. Therefore no run/tow switch. Plus, looking at the photo suggests it doesn't have V-glide either. Most likely a Pot-Box under the floor boards.

96 did use the type 1 potentiometer mounted under the car at the throttle pedal. Take it to the shop. This is not a repair task for the uninitiated.
