Connecting Voltage Reducer
Need to know where I should connect a voltage reducer on my 1980 Harley 36 volt MG IV . I have had it connected to the charger inlet connections , and also to the first and last batter's in the system , and it dose't work like I think it should . My problem is , my two items I have connected , a horn and a fan , will not work when I am driving it , using the accelerator unless I floor it , or take my foot of the pedal . So where should it be connected for these to work while I am moving ?

Re: Connecting Voltage Reducer
i ditched the one on mine. it is a 69 de. apparently the 2 sets of 3 batteries don't stay connected. my reducer worked sitting still and wide open. i only use it for lights so a guy i know who serviced them when they were "new" told me to tie it in to 2 of the 6 volt batteries. he said the draw would be negligible to the batteries since i am running all led lights.
