Default Buff / wax faded body?

Guys - what is the best solution for restoring the shine to a cart that is faded from the sun? I thought buffing and waxing but there are all sorts of options on YouTube for this. What do you use / recommend ?
Thanks!

There are a lot of options. I would first try a automotive product such as nu finish or any type of product that is advertised as brings color back. Most are inexpensive but do a great job. After finish is restored you want to put a good quality wax on top. Many of the new products are easy to use give you a great shine without leaving a white residue and can be applied to any trim as well. Although the finish is already flat you can carefully wet sand with 600 to 800 grit sandpaper and then follow up with the above. This will remove any dirt etc that is in the finish. Is your cart metal or fiberglass ? Just curious. Keep me posted.

The above mentioned methods will work, I would do the liquid products for fiberglass.

Its plastic. The body is usually the same color as the paint.

I would wet sand it with 1000 grit then 1500 then 2500 and use a viable speed polisher and use a product call Norton liquid ice and get 3 pad cutting pad then a compound pad and a polish pad and take ur time use the liquid ice with all 3 pad and keep a spray bottle of water next to you with some detail cloth

Ok, paintdude96, I know nothing about this......so sanding plastic, even with fine grit, will still get it smooth and not leave scratches from sandpaper ? I guess so....just sounds wrong for some reason. Also, if I do not sand, what should I use ?

What color is it . If 7r cart has been painted before then u can wet sand it with the fine sand paper. But if it is factory then try the liquid ice and the buffing pad. I know this cause I sale all this stuff been in the automotive refinish market for 15 years
