Voltage reducer advice
-I will be installing an led headlight/taillight kit and a small led bar on my 48 volt drive. I'm having a hard time deciding on a converter. Most of the ones I see on Amazon have bad reviews.

Check out our sponsors. I bought mine from Jason's and have had no problems.

Re: Voltage reducer advice
Yamaha sells a plate that sandwiches between the controller & its bracket, reducer hangs below & points to battery area. You could easily copy that idea.

Re: Voltage reducer advice
i looked but couldn't find what you were talking about. There is bound to be someone out there that has mounted a reducer somewhere on the drive golf carts.

Re: Voltage reducer advice
Well most places I try to order that part from seems to be around 1-2 weeks out from me getting it.... So I may just try to mount it without the bracket. Any ideas or recommendations on where to mount it would be appreciated.

Re: Voltage reducer advice
Here's a link to the one that came on my 48V HuntVe. It works really well. I run lights, stereo, subwoofer and all my 12v accessories with it.

Re: Voltage reducer advice
I bought an el cheapo one from Amazon. it was less than $30. I've had it for over a year so far and no problems. I am only running the LED lights. My cart has the 4-12V, so I mounted it in the middle. I will have to move it when I replace the battery pack, but it is fine until then.
