yamaha G19 steering assembly
ok, just acquired a 98 G19 the steering is very sloppy. all I can find on the web is a G22 and G29 steering box assemblies. will the G22 work on a G19.

No, not at all. You could get out the welder and add a bracket to the frame for the G22 rack to bolt to. Tbere is an adjuster nut on the top of your current steering box. (make adjustments very gradually, like less than 1/8 turn at a time, then test drive, careful not to adjust too far & cause steering binding).

I would adjust the one you have. The new ones from yamaha are not machined right or something, they wont adjust to factory spec. Other than that, no.
