G14 E accelerator pedal inop for 3 seconds
Hello I have a 1996 g14E cart and when I press the accelerator pedal nothing happens after holding pedal on for 3to 4 seconds it starts going . Note no noise what so ever from solenoid when first pushed . checked wires that turn on solenoid when accelerator pedal depressed no voltage then after 3 to 4 seconds the voltage is there, solenoid clicks and runs any ideas? Thanks

Re: G14 E accelerator pedal inop for 3 seconds
Accelerator pedal start/stop switch. Its the one at the front edge of the gas pedal assy, ahead of the pivot point. Check for steady voltage on one wire (input), power only when pedal is pressed on the other wire (output). If there is a delay for power on output wire, but no loss of power on the input wire, switch is likely bad.
