New Yamaha Drive 2+2 pulsates while braking
I have a 2016 Electric 2+2 and when you apply the brakes it pulsates. It feels like a truck does when the rotors are badly warped. Anyone else have this going on? Is it normal?

Not normal. If it's new get it fixed under warrantee.

So I called the dealer I purchased my cart from. He told me to take the wheels off and see if there was a retainer clip on one of the studs left from the factory.
I took the rear wheels off and sure enough there was a little circular retaining clip on one stud on each wheel. I took the clip off and put the wheels back on. The whole time thinking there is no way this is what the problem is. Took it for a spin around the neighborhood applying the brakes in multiple situations and pressure. Smooth as silk. I'm blown away that those tiny little clips were causing this cart to pulsate like that when braking. Mind = Blown!  |

Would have been better if the dealer took them off in the first place.
At least it is fixed, and you are quicker at changing tires. |
