Default 2002 G19E Upgrade direction needed

I have been slowly accumulating parts. I want to update my wives golf cart with a long travel kit, maybe 21-22" tires, some lights and quite a bit more torque. We have a steep driveway and it takes a toll to get both of us up the hill. The cart is stock now. Completely stock. I pretty much plan on doing a full body off restoration to repair rusted out body panel brackets, a new battery tray and such. Without breaking the bank, what would be a great setup. Don't need to haul butt up the hill but it would be nice to have a little "seat of the pants" pep to it. There seems to be so many speed combinations. I did recently pick up a 400 amp GE controller from a gentleman on here. Was either going to use that or just get something else. Could use some direction. Thanks.

your "other" controller must be a "0-5k" throttle type. the stock motor kinda sucks, it has small brushes. looks like a motor & controller is in your future. your "other" controller might be able to retrofit if its a sepex controller (you didnt give any details on the other controller). yeah, stock G19 motor kinda sucks for anything other than mild/moderate street use (or actual golfing?).

Sorry, the controller I got is here. http://www.buggiesunlimited.com/golf...ls-g19-22)/600

I'm thinking that this controller really won't do much for me considering the upgrades I would like to do. This cart is meant for use on our property hauling brush, tree branches, taking out the trash and such. Hilly, rocky, uneven ground. Hench wanting to have more clearance and longer travel for a smoother ride.

I just put Plowman's Riot Kit on my G22. Has enough speed considering I'm at 40 volts under load. Haven't had the chance to have 4 adults on it and climb hills yet. Over the weekend I'll be ready for a full review of the kit. Don's kit consists of a torque/speed motor, 500 amp controller, heavy duty solenoid, battery cables and awesome customer support...Jim

Thank you for your info. I look forward to hearing what you think of it after a full load test

So do you have any torque motor suggestions or suggestions on companies I could read up on?
