Yamaha YDRE 2007 loose sound on diff
Good afternoon,
Really looking for some help with my Yamaha YDRE 2007 model please. Under power the golf cart is fine but the minute you start decelerating a knocking/ ticking sound comes from the rear diff. I have replaced all the bearings, redone the wet brake and still no change, can't seem to figure it out! |

Re: Yamaha YDRE 2007 loose sound on diff
First try checking your axle nuts make sure they are torqued to 80 ft/lb, sometimes if they are loose the spacers between the transaxle and the hub will rotate and make a noise. You can see if the spacers are loose by reaching behind the wheel and seeing if they will turn by hand.
