Rxv idle help
I want my cart to idle when stopped. I installed a different spring in the drive clutch so will sit when at idle. My problem is in the gas peddle switch. It has 4 wires coming out of it and I don't know what wires to cross to bypass switch. I don't want to fry anything.

Re: Rxv idle help
I suspect that you will need to supply more information such as what year and model etc. On my 2003 TXT there is a micro switch under the floor mat in a covered box. I simply bypassed that switch by running a short wire to both sides of the switch. Then with this you get a key start. The cart will run as long as the key in on. I first replaced the spring in the clutch but found that it gave me a real jerky start so I went back to the original spring. I didn't even have to increase the idle speed. But you can fool around with both the spring and idle until it feels right for you. I know there are a bunch of guys on here that can give you better information on this subject.

Re: Rxv idle help
I have a 2010 gas rxv and am looking to do the same. OP did you ever get it working or has anyone else figured out the right wires to bypass for the rxv idle or key start mod?
